Return Policy for Vendors

1. Introduction

Ngbuka is committed to ensuring transparent and premium customer service. This Return Policy outlines the procedures and conditions under which returns will be handled on the Ngbuka platform.

2. Eligibility for Returns

  • Customers may request to return defective goods which must be done within three (3) days from the date of delivery.
  • Returned products must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging, tags, and accessories intact. Items that have been damaged, altered, or used are not eligible for returns or refund.
  • Certain items are non-returnable due to their nature, including perishable goods, custom-made products, and items marked as "final sale."

3. Return Process

To commence a return process customers are expected to initiate a return request through the Ngbuka platform, providing details of the order (s) and reason for return. Once the return request is received, the seller will review it, and subject to the assessment of our customer care support team, approve or reject it based on the return policy criteria within 48 hours. Upon approval, customers will receive instructions for product return. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs except the defect or return is as a result of the seller's error. Refunds for cost of shipping will be made to the customer following proof of such shipping.

4. Refunds and Replacements

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, the seller will process the refund within three (3) business days. The refund will be credited to the customer’s original payment method or Ngbuka wallet within 7 - 15 working days.If a customer requests a replacement for a defective or incorrect item, the seller will ship the replacement within five (5) working days of receiving the returned item. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be processed and issued within 7 - 15 working days..

5. Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers must ensure that every product they post on our platform is of high standard, quality and accurately described. Sellers must respond to return or sale requests and process refunds or replacements promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Sellers must keep detailed records of all return transactions, including return requests

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must return products in their original packaging and ensure that the items are securely packed to prevent damage during return shipping. Customers must return the products within the specified return window to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from, under or in connection with these Terms shall be first subject to online dispute resolution platforms, mediation, customer support teams and in failure of which legal action under the relevant and extant laws as applicable within the jurisdiction of the Federal Republic of Nigeria may be resorted to.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this Return Policy at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify NGBUKA and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with our:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right or privacy right.
